The new RS-2 HANS device from Stand 21 is an evolution of the HANS systems currently available on the market. After extensive R&D and market research, the Racing Series has been launched by Stand 21, incorporating new design features whilst retaining all the benefits of the original model.
This clever 20 degree HANS device now comes in Medium/ Large which fits 90% of all drivers and now an XL version for larger frames and bigger neck sizes.
The RS-2 has a new exclusive recycled carbon based manufacturing process which is moulded under very high pressure, and with some manufacturing streamlining, the cost has been reduced by nearly £100 over the original Racing Series model. This material and the advanced composites process makes it very strong, easily passing the FIA testing programme for HANS, but it is also light weighing in at just 826 grammes. The RS-2 is 30% lighter than the sport series and just under 200 grammes heavier than the much more expensive Hi Tec carbon version.
