URGENT PRESS RELEASE 2nd April 2012 RE:  News Item released entitled “FIA Seat Homologations Cancelled” In response to the recent news items published in various media on or around the 20th February 2012, Corbeau Seats Ltd would like to clear up any misunderstandings regarding the homologation of our seat models.  As a seat manufacturer named in this document who fully understands the FIA/ MSA seat homologations we feel it necessary to clarify what this bulletin set out to explain. • Snetterton Round Up

Gordon Sheddon and Matt Jackson kept the Corbeau and LUKE brand firmly planted on the rostrum last weekend at Snetterton, with Matt Jackson leaving the Norfolk circuit as the championship leader. Shedden took third in race one making sure our brand was kept in the top three and the second race of the weekend saw the scot bring home the Team Dynamics Honda in first place after making a move on team mate Matt Neal. Matt Jackson kept Corbeau and Luke on the top spot, winning in race three after racing ahead of the field taking a strong lead putting him in...

  • Corbeau News

Corbeau and Luke may have been a little quite on the news front lately but we can assure you that there has been plenty going on. Our seats were finally installed into the Brighton and Hove Albions new Amex Stadium and even though we do say so ourselves they looked amazing.  Young Freddie Lee topped the podium at Arena Essex again last weekend now with an 8 point lead in the Ministox Championship, Liam Doran took his first win for Monster Energy at X Games in the Super Rally event on the streets of LA and Lotus Sport UK took their first win of their...

  • Racing Round Up

Matt Neal and Matt Jackson shared the wins this weekend at Croft in North Yorkshire. Matt Neal put Corbeau and Luke on the podium in the first two races of the day with Matt Jackson taking second in race one with Shedden, Jordan and Chilton all jostling for 5th, 6th and 7th on a very greasy circuit. Liam Griffin in the Airwaves Focus caused the most excitement in race two with his car veering off into the crop fields. The battle between Neal and Collard made for great racing and not only did Neal set the fastest lap of the weekend but...

  • Fourth for Fannin

Our young Corbeau driver Jody Fannin was flying the flag for Corbeau this weekend in the Ginetta GT Supercup after recovering from a massive shunt in testing a few weeks ago. Unfortunately Jody missed out on a podium top spot in race one after being held up by a slower G55, midway through the race Jody managed to overtake and catch up with the G50’s, but a long brake pedal hampered progress and Jody finished a respectable 5th. Race two saw the rain come down heavily and with Jody on Slicks he managed a great job, after over taking an extremely defensive...

  • Wet weekend at Oulton Park

An action packed weekend was had at damp Oulton Park this weekend for round four of the British Touring Car Championship. Gordon Shedden put Corbeau and Luke on the podium for the first race of the day and was on course to take his second podium, when in race two team mate Matt Neal attempted to overtake on the last lap taking out the two Hondas and putting them both in the gravel trap meaning there was no podiums for Corbeau or Luke. Matt Jackson started in pole for the last race of the day and with an outstanding drive he led from...

  • Sideways season starts!

MPH Customs have been extremely busy over the winter break and the final result was revealed at Donington Park just a few weeks ago for the first round of the BDC Championship. Matt went out for his first practice session and trying to keep his sensible head on he thought he would take it easy for the first run but then the buzz kicked back in and Matt really showed what the Mazda RX-7 was capable of. Unfortunately for Matt all his hard work and effort did not quite reward him in the way he had hoped with a radiator blockage...
